Improving Conversion Rates with Multi-Step Forms

The Challenge

Evergreen Electrical was attracting visitors through both paid and organic channels, but converting only 2% of them into enquiries. To unlock more value from that traffic, the site needed focused conversion‑rate optimisation.

My Approach

I re‑designed the enquiry journey around a visual, multi‑step form built in Webflow. The first step in the form used clear visuals to direct customers to the relevant questions for their enquiry. Someone looking for an EV charger would be asked for different information compared to a customer looking for a solar system quote.

Why a Multi‑Step Form?

  • Clear, uncluttered design – each step asks for just one piece of information.
  • Progress indicators – users always know how far they’ve come and what’s next.
  • Fully responsive – works flawlessly on mobile, tablet and desktop.

By focusing on a single, well‑executed change, I turned Evergreen Electrical’s website into a far more effective lead‑generation tool reducing aquisition costs by 60%.
